I canNOT believe my little Austin is FIVE! How did that go by so fast?!  He had a pretty awesome birthday. His mama threw him the coolest basketball party the morning of his birthday.  At the party, I told him I had his present but that he could open it later that day after dinner.  We were supposed to get together for a family dinner and I just assumed everyone else would be bringing their presents for him too. Well...I guess everyone else was waiting to give him his presents on Sunday and I didn't get the memo.  Austin remembered my promise and and refused to wait until Sunday for his present from Aunt Stina!

The race track was a hit!  And, the lucky duck got to stay up super late playing with Uncle Houston!  The same weekend of Austin's birthday, our niece Haylie came to visit! I had never met her before her visit to Texas, so we were ridiculously excited to see her!  Poor girl, she was so overwhelmed.  There were so many new people and kids and lots of noise.  She did let me hold her a couple times and gave me some good snuggles, and she finally started loosening up on Sunday night, the night before she had to leave.  :(  Nana made sure to document the whole family being together and scheduled family pictures for Saturday afternoon while Haylie was in town. The photography session was terrible.  Elaina was a beast.  She wasn't feeling well and we had to cut her nap short in order to make it to the photo shoot in time.  Neither one of those things make for a cooperative photography subject.  Lucky for us Marci with Three Peas Photography is amazing.  Looking at her pictures, you would never know Elaina was being a diva.

Sunday, Haylie and Uncle Fofo came to our house to play!  What a treat!  Our house is so teensy we rarely have other kids over to play.  Elaina loved it and has been talking about it ever since!

The girls went on a wagon ride around the neighborhood.  Elaina talks about Haylie in her wagon every time she sees her wagon outside on the patio!  The girls were funny with their matching sippy cups.  Elaina would pick up her cup, take a drink, Haylie would pick up her cup, take a drink, Elaina would put the cup in the cup holder, Haylie would put her cup in the cupholder...then it would start all over again!  Elaina drink, Haylie drink, Elaina drink, Haylie drink.  At one point Elaina stopped and Haylie picked up her cup and handed it to her!  Silly kids.

We had a little lunch at the counter.  Whenever Elaina sits on the stool at the counter she puts to the other stool and talks all about how Haylie sat to eat lunch with her.  Sweet girl misses her cousin!

That night we had Sunday dinner at Nick and Julie's with the Harris fam, then the entire Weaver crew came over for Austin's birthday cake.  It got crazy up in there!  As a collective group, DANG we've reproduced a lot!
