the whole reason we went down to texas to visit was to celebrate my brother's graduation from good old clements high school! he graduated magna cum laude and will be attending stanford next september! we are all so proud of him and his many awesome accomplishments!! it was so fun to be able to watch him give the invocation and walk across the stage. houston thought i was pretty dorky because i was so excited about singing the alma mater, but hey it was fun!! i definitely had my "guns up" when they played it at the end! way to go nickbo!!!

there he is giving the invocation!! he said he wasn't nervous at all but in the middle of his speech his foot started to itch which was a little awkward! haha. too bad the dang camera man was in the way the whole time! we got there early so i got an awesome seat to take pictures from, then 5 minutes before the thing started the camera guy moved right in front of my view

after graduation we went out to eat some awesome texas barbeque!! there was a check off my list i made a few weeks ago! also on the way to graduation (we got there 2 hours early to get good seats!) we stopped to get some shipleys donuts first. shipley's is just that high on the priority list!
