Good morning sweet girl!!!

Merry Christmas!!!

 On Christmas day we woke up and Elaina opened her stocking at home.  I was really surprised at how excited she was about the stuff in her stocking!!  I just expected her to not understand what was going on/not care/only care about the paper, etc.  But, she loved the things in her stocking!  I just set the stocking in front of her and she kept taking the stuff out and playing with it.  It was so stinkin cute!

 After stockings, we packed up and moved on over to Mimi and Papi's house to open presents.  Harley even got to tag along.  She was so excited to hang out with her best friend, Papi.

 Uncle Scotty was so sweet and loved feeding Elaina her oatmeal.  She just chilled in her high chair for a while, surrounded by presents.

 Elaina kept loving her presents! She seriously was so excited about every single one of them.  It was so cute and she was so spoiled.  This is definitely one loved little munchkin.
Even Harley got some love.  Papi bought her a bone and a leash for their house so he can take her on walks and a doggy life jacket for the pool.  Haha!  I told him good luck getting her in that last one!

Nicholas bought her this over the top panda outfit.  Even if it is over the top, I think it's pretty freakin cute.

I think her little play kitchen from Aunt Nana and Uncle Scotty was adorable.  It might have been Houston's favorite too because it talks and sings in spanish. I've had the song, "La cocina. It's the kitchen!  Where we learn to cook all day.  We say hola. Bienvenidos..."  stuck in my head for the last 5 days!

 Houston's big gift of the year was a trip to Honduras!  He has been wanting to go back for years and years and years.  He mentions it to me at least every other month.  So everyone knew he would be excited about it.  His family wanted to watch him open it so, they all came over to "bring my brother monkey bread." (which they DID do because my brother loves it)  Houston didn't have an incredibly awesome reaction to the gift.  He was just chill about it.  But, I knew he was super excited about it because he kept talking about it for the next few hours!

 I had to wrap something, so I borrowed one of Austin's toy planes, stuck our faces in the plane, tied a "honduras or bust!" sign to the plane, and tied a bow around it all.  I thought it turned out pretty cute.  Austin was a good sport.  He was very upset and worried that we were taking his plane.  When he saw Houston open it he was worried Houston would get to keep it!  He was a very happy camper when I gave it back to him a few minutes later.

As usual, my mom made the most delicious meal.  I think we all look forward to it all year long.  Can't go wrong with mexicana beef tenderloin, saffron rice, and cilantro cream sauce. mmmm, I could go for another plate right now.

Harley enjoyed her new leash on a walk with her BF.  Poor Har Pup, she gets so spoiled over at their house.  Christmas bone, treats, lots of walks... she was actually a little depressed when we came home.  She moped around for a the next few days!

After all the festivities at my parents house, we migrated over to the the other fam to open presents.  Austin was SO ready to open presents after waiting all day long!

It was a jam-packed weekend full of family, fun, and lots and lots of food.  Merry Christmas everybody!
